A New Mass in Slanewill be offered in Latin according to what is called the Novus Ordo Rite. This will take place every Sunday at 1pm & will be considered as appropriate to fulfil one’s obligation to attend Mass on the Sabath. There will be similarities to the older Tridentine Mass which many older parishioners may remember but it is important to emphasize that this is not the old rite but rather our modern Mass with elements of the old. This mass will be celebrated by Fr. David Jones from Duleek.
