Light the Fire on the Hill of Slane, 2025

A truly blessed & joy filled day was had on the Hill. Many hearts were touched. A massive thank you to everyone who supported & helped out!

Lady Well Day 15th August Slane, Co Meath.

Slane Parish Pastoral Council are once again bringing back into focus visiting the Holy Well,

Fr. Richard Matthews will lead a procession with the statue of Our Lady to the Holy Well site on Thursday 14th August following 7pm mass in St. Patrick’s church.

Everyone is welcome to take part in this procession.

On the 15th the Holy Well can be visited from early morning until 9pm that night, the Rosary will be said at intervals during the day with the Chaplet of Divine Mercy recited at 3pm.

You are welcome to take home some of the holy water (please bring your own bottle) For anyone who may find the walk down to lady well a little difficult a shuttle bus will operate from St. Patrick’s church car park at the following times.

Lady well is a special place to spend some time in quiet prayer /contemplation.

The Singing Group practice on Wednesdays from 8pm to 9pm in St. Erc’s Oratory. They generally sing at the 11am Mass in Slane on a fortnightly basis. New members welcome

Graves; - there has been an increase in recent weeks of waste material been taken from graves & left behind headstones. Please take whatever is taken of your graves home with you.

The Holy Rosary will take place after 9am mass on weekdays.

Alone aims to help reduce loneliness and isolation through a weekly home visit from a Befriender, To avail of this service or make a referral contact Francis at 086-1085965, or email volunteer@alone.ie
