Parish Pastoral Council meeting will take place this coming Tuesday 25th Nov in St. Erc’s oratory straight after 7pm Mass.

To mark the 400th anniversary of the birth of Saint Oliver Plunkett, and the 50th anniversary of his canonisation, RTÉ Television and BBC NI Television will each broadcast a programme on Sunday 23rd November 2025.  Please share this information with your community.
10.55 am RTÉ 1 Mass - Canon Eugene Sweeney celebrates Mass in Saint Peter's Church, Drogheda, with the global premiere of a specially composed Mass of the Bells by Irish composer, Michael Holohan.
11.30am BBC 1 Prayer and Reflection We join the faithful gathered at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Cathedral, Armagh, for a special evening prayer service to mark the 50th anniversary of the canonisation of Saint Oliver Plunkett.  The service is led by Archbishop Eamon Martin.

 First Saturday Conference in Knock To mark the 100th anniversary of the First Saturday Apparition in Pontevedra, Spain, there will be a special conference in Knock on the first Saturday in December - December 6th. Adoration and confessions at 10am in the Reconciliation Chapel. Talks from Bishop John Keenan, Antonia Moffat, and Fr Philip Kemmy in St John's Centre. Rosary led by the Children's Rosary group, a 15-minute meditation led by Fr. Marius O'Reilly, as Our Lady requested for the First Saturdays, and time for lunch.  At Fatima, Our Lady promised that there would be peace in the world and that many souls would be saved through this devotion.  For more details, please visit firstsaturdays.ie

“The Singing Group We meet in St. Erc’s Oratory from 8pm - 9pm every Tuesday night and aim to sing at 11am Mass in Slane twice a month. New members are always welcome - and please remember to take a hymn sheet at the door and join in. We love it when you sing along with us!

The Singing Group practice on Wednesdays from 8pm to 9pm in St. Erc’s Oratory. They generally sing at the 11am Mass in Slane on a fortnightly basis. New members welcome
